Bath - Dennis J. Ring, 73, of Whiskeag Road died on April 8, 2018.
He was born on December 31, 1944, a son of John E. and Ida M. (Jalbert) Ring. He graduated from Haverhill High School in Massachusetts. Dennis entered the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was employed at an oil Company in Plaistead, NH. In 1983 he moved to Bath and co-owned and operated the Harbor Light Bar on Front Street. He was later employed at Pine State Safety Lines in Topsham. Dennis was employed by the City of Bath Parks and Recreation Department as a machine operator for the cemetery for many years. He then returned to Pine State in Topsham until they closed. Dennis was employed part time at Advanced Auto Parts until retiring in 2015.
For over forty years, Dennis was an avid collector of military items.
He is survived by his wife, Suzi Ring of Bath, one son, Sean Seymour of Bradford, MA, two daughters, Hannah Robicheau and her husband Kevin of Mechanicville, VA and Gretchen Seluke and her fiancé Brian Phelps of Bath, one brother, John Ring of Bath, two nieces, Kristen Ring of Bath and Elizabeth Clinton and her husband Mike of Wiscasset, two granddaughters, Haley Seluke and Illeanna Robicheau and many cousins.
Visiting hours will be on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 4 to 6 PM at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath at a later date.
